After handling their previous bi-annual meeting in Adelaide, iNova trusted us to take care of their national forum, which gained widespread media intrest across the country.

The main issue to overcome with this event was access time for bump in.  With a dinner event in the Sofitel’s Grand Ballroom the previous night meaning a 2am access time to the room, a great deal of planning was required to ensure the complex setup was ready for presentation runthroughs at 7am and doors opening at 8am.

When faced with an overnight bump in as much preparation is done before the gear goes through the front door as possible.  Cable looms are made to length, racks and equipment are pre-patched, lighting fixtures pre-addressed and labelled, lighting and audio consoles are pre-programmed.  The most important thing however, is a comprehensice breif is produced so each member of our team knows exactly how the system is going together allowing everyone to work together in the most efficeient way possible.

The system for this event included 3 large projection screens, foldback and timer monitors, LCD lectern signage, 7000W of sound distributed evenly across the space, an array of microphone options for presentations, panel discussions and audience Q&A, lighting across the stage and pixel bars washing drapes.
